SOUTH ALGONQUIN TRAILS INC. – RULES AND REGULATIONS

Closed for hunting season 3rd week of October – 4th week of November

The following rules and regulations shall be observed at all times by all persons occupying or visiting South Algonquin Equestrian Trails

Alcohol– Alcohol beverages may be consumed at cabin and campsites only. Excessive drinking or profane language will not be tolerated.

Campfires and Fire Pits -Campfires are permitted in the fire pits approved by management. Keep your fire under control with water nearby. Make sure fire is completely out before retiring for the night or leaving your campsite. Fire wood available on site for purchase.

Firewood – Firewood is available for purchase on site. (Help Protect our Forest!! Please do not bring your firewood from home, it poses a substantial risk to Canada’s economy and environment – Buy Local – Burn Local)

Fire protection– All trailers must be equipped with a fire extinguisher as required by law.

Garbage Disposal– All house hold garbage must be placed in the dumpster.

Horse Sites- You will be responsible to remove and clean up everything on your site including horse pens and shelters. All stalls must be left as found- CLEAN!  If not clean, you will forfeit your $200 site deposit.

Manure Disposal – please ensure all manure is disposed of in the provided manure bunker. It is greatly appreciated when dumping your manure, please do so as close to the far wall as possible.   

Insurance– All horse campers with horses must have proof of Ontario Equestrian (O.E.F.) or Canadian recreational horse and rider association (CRHRA) liability insurance. Horse pens are the sole responsibility of the camper renting the site. Trailers are the responsibility of the owner to insure and should cover protection against damage to trailers.

Pets- Well behaved pets are allowed, please be sure they stay on your campsite.

Quiet Time– Please be considerate of others. Keep noise moderately low between the hours of 11pm and 9am.

Theft and Vandalism– There is a zero tolerance policy in effect in respect of any acts of theft or vandalism within the property. In the event that an occupant, their family, guests or invitees are caught vandalizing or defacing park property or stealing, the occupant and their trailer will be evicted from the park without refund or adjustment of the site fee.

Visitors– Every person must be registered (upon arrival) and adhere to the park rules.

Occupancy is a governed by the Trespass & Property Act of Ontario. One warning will be given, and I understand I am on Private Property. Anyone violating these Rules and Regulations will be told to vacate without refund
